How nuts would it be for them to win the Stanley Cup and WS the same year?

Tampa Bay pro sports seem to be nothing but bandwagon especially the Rays. In a normal season, they might average 5000 fans a game.

I'll like this Tampa Bay post of yours. Not those other ones you were posting a couple weeks back

That’s funny. You personally haven’t made a World Series either.

Not the Lightning

But if this game was in Tropicana, it would probably have been a home game for the Yankees

The Lightning have a very strong following.

Bucs is hit or miss and Rays it's really small.

One big reason is the Yankees called Tampa a second home for a long time, so a lot of older people never got on the Rays train that grew up here. Add in Tropicana is the worst stadium possibly in all major sports, and it hurts the fan growth.

Hell of a game last night boys. Congrats! Wish the Reds had made a better showing.

Would probably also help if the park was in Tampa.

This is true, but ratings for the Rays on the regional network (FSN) are pretty good. This suggests there is interest if the stadium/traffic/access issue could ever be figured out.

Even worse, Atlanta moved its spring training base to North Port, which is about an hour south of Tampa.
