Glad to see it. I think there was some training video of him a few months ago, on that route.

I wonder if the outcome at Milan San Remo had anything to do with this. That was an amazing race and one of the best finishes I've ever seen. MVDP is tough to beat in the one day races and I was shocked that Ganna came back at the end.

Catalunya is going on right now. Primoz is out there. 19yr old Brennan is making waves with Visma. Been a good season so far.

He’s been considering riding Roubaix for multiple years now. I think the main factor is he’s in the rainbows and wants to take that chance of winning with that jersey on.

With Roubaix being so flat, It's made for the bigger riders that hold high power numbers for long periods of time. No hills where power to weight ratio matters.
It will be tough for Tadej to overcome MVP, WVA, Phillipsen, Ganna, and Pederson. It's possible but, I think he will need some luck!

I think Ganna wins this year. His ride at San Remo was amazing.

That’s something to admire about Pog…he likes to race and take on a challenge. If he thought MVP was hard to beat at Sanremo…boy is he in for a fight to survive in this one. I expect he’ll do well, but I can’t see a win. I’ve been wrong many times though.

Pog’s threshold is close to MVDP just doesn’t have the sprint to match him. And I agree I think Ganna gets away while MVDP and Pog are looking at each other.

This is probably a frowned upon take, but I’ll say it anyway: I wish that they would outlaw riders from riding in the gutter on the side of the cobbles. I feel like it goes against the spirit of the race.

Yep, and I prefer Classics over GTs.

I think he's stated winning the monuments is important to him as much as The Tour. That Milan San Remo had to sting.

Catalunya has been amazing so far with another big stage tomorrow.

If anybody wants to catch up, Tiz cycling has replays of all the stages on demand plus streams.

Catalunya has been good. Another good finish today. I'll take a look at that link.

Tadej took off like a fricking rocket up the Kwaremont today.

Maybe Van der Poel felt the effects of his crash early in Flanders but without bad luck I expect that Tadej will make it really tough on him again next week.

Winning PR may be a question of Tadej choosing the right strategy. Much easier in Flanders to just plan to attack on late hills. I don't see him soloing from Arenberg to win Roubaix so he'll have to pick the right spot next week.

On it. Thanks. For some reason I thought Max had cycling. I can’t keep up anymore with all of the streaming services.

Stream

If Tadej's clearly got the best legs he can still win but otherwise he's in a tough position.
