Just listened to it.
Lots of technical numbers I couldn't really appreciate with no reference point

He's the gist:
He said he loves long Zone 2 5-hour rides.

What;s your HR at zone 2?
When I'm fatigued, 140-145.
How many watts?
320-340. But zone 2 is hard in the hills. So on flat zone 2, I keep the watts at 290-300.

I brought this up months ago.

It really is unreal the impact (advantage) that could be at play.

Not on this podcast. Pretty amazing the power the top riders are able to put out. Would like for the top riders to start the Tour healthy next year. If there is a silver bullet, the podium is taking it.

He’s doing my threshold when I’m going good and we are essentially the exact same build
