Guess it depends on what they want to build but if it’s too copy success keeping Young is a mistake. Moving him for multiple pieces or future assets is the faster way to getting healthy.

Be that as it may, the Wiz are 2-3 years away from being a REAL contender. By then, all the young guns will be in that 23-25 age range where they start to hit their primes. Trae’s contract is likely coming off the books by then. Again, he’s nothing but a placeholder. Get a couple playoff runs with him and go from there.
