Nothing to cry about. Just reality. Spurs fans were already putting out the excuses when Fox and Haper were questionable for Game 3 and they even played lmao.

Thunder need to pray to split the next two games and see what they can get out of Jdub in Game 7 to get the Finals

Oh, so you are acting like the same fans you talk shite about? That’s about what I’d expect from our resident OKC fans on here.

Keep beating each other up… Knicks have played this playoffs in a feedback loop.

Win game 6 in ATL, 76ers beat Boston in 7

Then Knicks sweep Philly, Cleveland beats Detroit in 7.

Now the Knicks might sweep Cleveland. Are Spurs and Thunder going 7?

There’s a longer break between the conference finals and the NBA finals though, and the Spurs/Thunder winner will host game 1

Knicks look poised to win the title against either Spurs or Thunder. I think they match up better against SAS surprisingly.

I do worry for the Knicks’ sake that such a long layoff brings them back to earth in terms of their offensive creation. They have been shooting out of this world

Nah, they don’t have the advantage to spread vs the size of SA or the depth of OKC. Would love to see KAT try tho. Those homos are cooked.

Mitchell, OG and Kat are problems that the Spurs had issues with this season. It's why we were 1-2 against them this year. The one win was a Julian Champagne legacy game where he hit 10 there's and still was a one possession game.

I'd imagine we'd employ a similar game plan that we used against Minnesota, but Knicks are deeper and aren't injured.

They'll be a problem for us for sure if we make it out.

Is D. Mitchell signing with Knicks for the Finals?

If they’re smart they can be a fast riser. What are their plans for AD and Young?

I could see AD being shipped out before the draft honestly. It would make a ton of sense to get him out to Golden State to pair with Steph. If not, I imagine they run out AD and build his value up prior to the deadline and flip him for a nice haul.

Trae will be a stop gap/bridge option for sure and are going to need a true point to backfill him over the next two to three seasons, but I think you see an extension agreed to with him over the summer. Wiz have an abundance of multi tool wings and you can see the Presti influence from Winger and Dawkins in how they’ve constructed the roster so far.

Young (Bub/Cooper)
Bilal (Tre Johnson)
AJ (Will Riley/Whitmore)
AD (Kyshawn/Champagnie-just as good as his brother on the spurs)
Sarr (Vuk)

But I can see them shipping out one of the million wings they have to try and fetch another first rounder this draft so they can go with Mara or Morez for example (which is what I’m hoping for)

Really think AJ and Sarr are going to be a great 1/2 combo for years to come. Bilal still has a really high ceiling too, as does Riley. Tre and Kyshawn all have game too. Additionally they have a ton of draft picks over the next few years as well. Finally the Wiz have a smart front office running the show with the Presti OKC tree running it all. I’m really hyped about Will Riley though, he has a lot of T Mac to his game with his insane bag and it wouldn’t shock me to see him become a future multi time all star. He just isn’t as explosive as T Mac.

Really need another vet big man and guard though to pair with I’m assuming AJ and hopefully a big with another first round pick acquired.

Because all these threads turn into a tiktok like free throw SGA thread

SA wins: Great game
SA loses: Damn refs

Thats pretty much all playoff threads for OKC. Its like a bunch of teenie boppers who listen to made up narratives. Just watch, next year the narrative will switch to SA. Once the social media hounds get their focus on them we’ll see the same thing.

Most NBA pundits are from big market cities. And OKC isn’t supposed to win like this. Most never played BB or did but make money from big markets. Its comical how so many have TDS. Thunder Deranged Syndrome. It really does exist.

I love all the hatred that means your team is winning more than their team. Once you win a title the gloves come off and true character shows. These threads are proof of that and its enjoyable to see everyone try to one up each other.

Among the 4 conference finalists, the Thunder have the lowest free-throw rate on offense (below-average for the playoffs) and highest free-throw rate on defense (above-average for playoffs).

Free throw disparity per game.

Game 1: Spurs +10 (Spurs win)
Game 2: OKC +7 (OKC win)
Game 3: even (OKC win)
Game 4: Spurs +14 (Spurs win)

Spurs have a +17 disparity through 4 games and had a double digit advantage in both wins.

To be clear, OKC loses last night regardless of the bad/no calls. Encouraged they only gave up 103, defense did their job players didn’t. If not for a miracle 3 in game 1 OKC is up 3-1.

One year ago OKC lost this game and won the series

Thunder lose so surely nobody will be complaining about the officiating right? Truth is people don’t want the game called fairly. They just don’t want the Thunder to win.

Funniest comment seen about telecast last night:

*Cason Wallace makes layup*

Reggie Miller: “But did you see how tall Wemby was on that play? Impressive defense despite the bucket!”

I think you dump Young and AD for as much as you can asap. AD won’t build any value, he’ll sit on his arse until you’re in a low leverage position. Young is a little different but if you can get something you want in return you should move him. The game is moving past his style and he’s in what year 8? Get one big piece and a bunch of little pieces to go with your young core.

Trae is 100% going to get an extension. He has been doing so much in the public eye since joining and being the ultimate cheerleader. I think Ted gave him a wink, wink nudge, nudge agreement.
And Trae with as abysmal as his defense is, can really help teach Tre and the others an arsenal of offensive moves. And the front office is thinking Sarr/AD can be good enough to hide him on the court. I think AD plays 100% if he’s still on the roster going into the season as he’s been pretty complimentary of the front office and facilities when joining. For the longest time DC was seen as a player graveyard and rightfully so, but the org has really done a 180 since Winger and Dawkins took over a few years ago. The word is starting to get out now. And they’ve seemingly done everything right except for the massive mistake of trading Deni away but they were afraid he would mess up the tank and he wasn’t one of them”their guys”
