It’s called logistics… I understand but it will destroy the tv ratings.

Looks like we just surrendered to the terrorist. We did not cancel football, world series after 9-11.

Couple of swings and misses, hoss.

MLB postponed all games scheduled for September 11, 2001, and extended the cancellations for three days. The canceled games were added to the end of the postseason, causing it to conclude later than usual.

The NFL postponed its games for the following weekend, and then added them to the end of the regular season, which pushed back any playoff games. As a result, the NFL now holds the Super Bowl on the first Sunday of February.

The Gator Bowl must have one hell of a contract with ESPN for it not to be bumped to ESPN2 or ESPNU so the Sugar Bowl could be primetime on ESPN.

You are right. But we can’t let fear ruin us. We have enough in the city to control

The sugar bowl is starting at 3 central. It should not affect the gator bowl by much.

I think the early start time is more about logistics and less about keeping the gator bowl where it’s at

The Syracuse game was played as scheduled. The game with LSU was moved to December and LSU whipped that arse to win the West.

Umm nfl games that weekend were postponed, which caused the Super Bowl to be pushed back a week.

That delayed super bowl was held in.., New Orleans
