Some Red Sox pitchers may use pine tar, but that picture certainly doesn't show any pine tar.

Haven't most players come out and said they would rather the pitchers use pine tar instead of catching a 94 mph fastball to the dome because a ball slipped.

They were caught cheating and the MLB is going to do nothing. Not suprised.

It's shiny. Could be sweat reflecting the lights or could be a foreign substance like sunscreen. I just don't see pine tar.

We should have used the official Red Sox Apple Watch. Guess they're cool with that.

I don't see why you are arguing against the guy using pine tar. It accepted by the entire league and most batters probably prefer the pitcher use it.

I can't tell if that's because the pine tar is dark or because the dude is dark

ETA: you can buy clear pine tar

I am an astros fan but you are just making the dumbest argument why would you care when the players don't? So what if the guy uses it.

Many team officials across baseball frustrated, appalled by MLB decision on Astros/spygate. They believe that Rob Manfred threatened in past to come down hard on violators of electronic surveillance rule, and now with crystal-clear evidence of HOU breaking rules, nothing happens.
