Ingestion Ingestion of sodium hydroxide can cause severe corrosive injury to the lips, tongue, oral mucosa, esophagus, and stomach.

Inhalation Inhalation of sodium hydroxide dust, mist, or aerosol may cause irritation of the mucous membranes of the nose, throat, and respiratory tract. Sodium hydroxide is odorless; thus, odor provides no warning of hazardous concentrations.

Skin/Eye Contact Exposure to sodium hydroxide solid or solution can cause skin and eye irritation. Direct contact with the solid or with concentrated solutions causes thermal and chemical burns leading to deep-tissue injuries. Very strong solutions of sodium hydroxide can hydrolyze proteins in the eyes, leading to severe burns and eye damage or, in extreme cases, blindness.

The initial victim drank it and immediately spit it out, bleeding from the mouth and having the skin of his tongue slough off.

The bottle ended up spilling and someone later sat in it, ending up getting burns on their arse.

Lawyer was on the news already preaching that this cat is 'just a juvenile'.
You got money, you got no problems. This will be swept under the rug with a vengeance to preserve the reputation of all involved.
Over and under on this guys showing up on a sex offender list in the future?

How many parents from the 90s with kids are naming their children Peyton with an "e" and Shaqille?

We're probably about 5 years from the Kobe generation playing high school and college sports.

WOW!

I guess he he was a no show for the religion classes.

It's too bad that there aren't any nuns around anymore who could teach him with a yard stick like they did in my day.

He put the stuff in HIS own drink. Then proceeded to try and get others to take a sip.
He grabbed the liquid off of the janitors cart. He was doing a prank...and obviously it went way way wrong.
Wierd story. He was friends with all involved. But the liquid ends up being something strong enough to literally kill someone. I'm told it was basically the janitors equivalent of Drano

Just pure stupidity.

What I meant was that the story I heard implied he had gotten kicked out of the military school in Virginia.

Anyone know why he left Oak Hill? I ended up googling him and watched some old clips of his time there. Looked like a decent player, especially for that age (14 yrs old or so). An old school newspaper clip also said his favorite food was 'boudins' and his favorite player was Odell Beckham Jr.

Kid is more an idiot than a killer.....but that shouldn’t affect his punishment. His Great Grandfather was Sheriff at one time.
