Steve Smith sends teammate Ken Lucas off the field in a cart

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Carolina Panthers cornerback Ken Lucas was carted off the field with an ice pack above his left eye Friday after a fight with teammate Steve Smith.
The melee came while most starters were on the sidelines during a special-teams drill at training camp. It was unclear what provoked the fight. Several players and coach John Fox rushed to both players. Fox tried to separate the two, but it took linebacker Jon Beason to pull Smith off Lucas.
Lucas walked to a tent, holding his head while accompanied by a trainer. Smith was then escorted there by receiver Muhsin Muhammad to talk to Lucas. After being treated for several minutes, the Panthers' starting cornerback walked onto a cart and was taken to the locker room. There was no immediate update on the extent of his injuries.
Smith was kicked out of practice and spent several minutes talking to kicker John Kasay on an adjacent field. He later walked into the locker room while practice continued.

I have a couple of points of thought here:
1. Steve Smith is a bitch for sucker punching his teammate. At least let it be a fair fight instead of having little man syndrome.
2. Kige, you totally missed the point Delhomme was making. Reading Comp 101---it's helpful.
3. It's unbelievable in this country how cops aren't called and no criminal charges are filed. I can't just go and haul my co-worker in the face right now and have my company say we talked it over it's all good. In my opinion, that's why athletes break the law so much because they're nurtured in an environment since middle school that they're above the rules. When they get to the real world (outside of sports) they don't understand those principles don't still apply.
