the saddest thing is that SAS has been able to stay relevant all these years with his yelling schtick .. for me he got tired 10 yrs ago but dumb people still think he is real like they think WWE wrestling is real . for frick sake he looks like Grover from Sesame Street ...

This may be one of the worst MSB takes I’ve ever seen.

That tweet is much worse than his original comment.

Whipped out the black card I see.

Looks like SAS is feeling the heat.

Stephen A. Smith went on a bigoted rant

So, what he does every time he opens his mouth?

He does have a point. Ohtani is the best player in the game, but not being able to speak English, being on the West Coast, playing for the number two team in a city in a state and region that is increasingly caring less and less about athletic/masculine achievements doesn’t help him in terms of being a “superstar”.

If Stephen A isn't suspended or fired then ESPN is full of hypocrites

Maria Taylor probably giddy thinking ESPN will have extra room in the budget for salaries.

Also, Mike Trout hasnt done shite for baseball

Mike has no public personality. I’ve never seen Mike front and center on any big MLB promotions.

As a Nationals fan, Harper is a major douche when he was here. Bury that guy and be grateful the team contracted a chauffeur for him.

I mean I think it’s retarded when players refuse to speak the native language of where they play despite planning on, or having played here for years.

So when an American baseball player goes and plays Nippon Baseball for 1 or 2 season do you expect them to be fluent in Japanese?

Ohtani has only been here since 2018 and does speaks both English and Spanish.

If numbnuts didn't watch these shows, idiots like this guy would have a job doing high school sports somewhere. Why does anyone waste their time with sports talk shows?

Yeah, I always hear folks say MLB does a lousy job of marketing players. Man, those MLB guys don't want to do what it takes to be marketed. I've seen it too many times.

When you ask those folks for solutions - they have none they say stupid chit like mike the players to show their "human side" which they do constantly and it usually is awkward and forced.

Surprised CPAC didn't invite Stephen A. to speak at their event. Gotta confuse the hell out of them like C. Jenner. We want to hate him but he talks like us. LOL
