there have been several hired, but can anyone name a black NFL HC that wasnt an abysmal failure with losing records?

a good coach is a good coach and it doesnt matter what his skin color is because money is always green, winning coaches get hired, tokens are given jobs they show they arent qualified for

1) Despite blacks making up 75% of the NFL player pool, only 9% of HCs are blacks.

Athletic skill has nothing to do with coaching. I'm not sure why anyone would suggest otherwise.

That's pretty much the case. There isn't an owner in the NFL that would pass on being successful because he didn't want a black coach.

To be an NFL head coach, for the most part, you have to show some tactical expertise from a knowledge standpoint (these account for most of the hires) OR you have to absolutely KILL the interview process and convince an owner that you know how to make the franchise successful.

Nobody gets to be an NFL coach based on a "give him a shot" scenario.

These two paragraphs disagree with each other.

What do you want to define as failure? Jim Caldwell was fired in 4 years but had a 56% wining percentage and the most successful 4 year run that the Lions have had in decades.

Lying to defend your gay little internet friend.

Pathetic, even for a Louisiana Patriots fan

Tomlin
Dungy

Lovie Smith took a Rex Grossman led team to a Superbowl,

Jim Caldwell with the Super Bowl Colts & best winning pct. in Detroit Lions SB era . (Ask Matt Patricia how easy it is to win in Detroit)

Dennis Green( a field goal miss from a Superbowl)

Art Shell - Raiders with a single playoff game since 2002 would love the have Shells 5 year run of 3 playoff appearances & an AFC Title game.

Anthony Lynn under the abysmal circumstances with the Chargers.

Not many minorities get the opportunity .

Or maybe because the black athletes especially at skill positions are far more superior and it brings in more revenue for them therefore they benefit more. Just maybe
