Agree. Probably should have won the game in regulation.
But it doesn’t mean it isn’t a terrible call. It was, and hopefully we can recover.

Another fact is that should have been a hand pass. Even Sharks fans think so which is how you know you got away with one.
Again, it’s not their fault we lost the game. It just sucks that it was such a big factor in OT.

Just because I said it was a bad call then point out several things St Louis did to lose this game?
Be rational. It’s embarrassing that St Louis fans can’t see that the Blues blew this game. They missed empty nets with 2 minutes left. Then the Blues iced the puck and gave up a goal with a minute left. Your team had it won and blew it.

Exactly, but also arguing that the blues should have lost that game on the hand pass because they couldn’t score a shot from 40 feet away is absurd.

It was a terrible call, though I'll be honest, I thought it was off a stick when it happened live. The replay showed it was a straight hand pass, clearly. And they can't go to replay, which is absurd. They can parse down to the molecule of whether a skate is offside, but they can't review a critical hand pass setting up a game winner.
But every team sitting at home can point to a call the refs missed which cost them the game. The Blues scored a goal in Game 6 against the Stars with the goalie prone on the ice due to injury which the refs didn't stop play for. The Blues didn't have a penalty called against them in the final seven periods of that series, which sort of helped the Blues out a bit. So the refs giveth, and the refs taketh away. The hockey gods always take their payment, and usually at the most painful and inopportune time.
So Sharks fans should be nervous. Because payback on this whole playoffs is gonna be a bitch. This wasn't even the worst call to go in their favor, as any Knights fan will happily tell you.
