Just pulled that hit up on YouTube ..... JHC ....I forgot Lindros went all catatonic after that cheap shot.
Stevens did the same shite to Ron Francis .... at least Lindros lived and died by that sword. Francis was a fricking multi year Lady Byng recipient...and near retirement.
I was at the Francis game sitting above visiting tunnel with a couple of buddies...We were drunk and pissed off at the hit and were all set to douse that SOB with 4 $9 beers. Security got wind and started coming at us at the end of the period. We did nothing of course which probably saved us from an arse whooping and straw fed meals for the rest of our lives.
