I hoped game 1 was just a sluggish effort, but it's becoming increasingly. Lear that SJ is the much better team.

San Jose has better skaters but St Louis has great team play

If Marleau gets hot it's over I think.

Time for Tarasenko to pull his head out of his rear.

Not only better skaters, but they are much more physical. The blues look helpless when they try and dump and chase and win battles against the boards on the forecheck

Reason I ask was at times they'd bury the Blues if the BoB were at home or something happened.

I thought it was funny listening to DeBoer complain about calls. I dont think there is a team in the NHL that sets more obvious picks than San Jose.

Sometimes you have to go with your gut feeling.

had $68 extra in online account and bet before heading downtown. Nearly paid for the tickets.

Psyched to watch tonight's game.

I feel like Pittsburgh is playing better as a team, getting more high quality scoring chances, more unblocked shot attempts, winning more faceoffs.

That being said, the Bolts are finding ways to neutralize this by solid goaltending and doing a better job of converting on scoring chances.

Gut feel is that Pittsburgh wins again tonight. Just a gut feel.

Pittsburgh is a much better team than Tampa at this point, given all of their injuries. But Tampa has been appropriately awesome at home in the postseason. It would be nice if that carries them, but it's not really what you want to be banking on.

OT - Hamburg Freezers of the DEL folded

Jamie Benn played for them in 2012
