No idea. It's only 5:00 PT and I don't get off until 6:00. So, I'll catch the end of the game when I get home. Stupid west coast time zone.

May have been hardest check I have seen. It was huge and changed Lindros' career. For as much crap as he got, Lindros was pretty damn good.

He deserved the crap for the Nordiques sweater thing at the draft but it was time to move on.

When I lived out there I loved that time zone. Get home at 4:45, no waiting around for games to start, and no staying up to midnight or later waiting for games to end. fricking hated Eastern Time Zone. I was up until 1:30 watching games because they start so damn late. So I made a vow I will never ever live in that time zone. Never.

I hate it when kids that have proven nothing dictate where they play. Lindros was already a fragile player well before Stephens lit him up. It got to a point where I cringed every time he got hit. Blues came close to trading for him one year, I'm glad that never happened.

Remember when Stephens smoked Kariya in the Stanley Cup Finals? You could see his breathe on his fask mask. Dude was a human wrecking ball.

Pens tie it

Lindros had concussion issues true. But I was talking about media/fans in moving on.

Lindros was a tremendous player when healthy. I still have his rookie card I pulled when I was a kid. Didn't Nordiques get Forsburg and a bunch of other players from the Lindros trade?

Yes his trade built the Avs then the Roy trade gave them the Cup

I was an Av fan those years due to St Patrick. I have been a Hab fan since I started watching Hockey due to Roy.

I hated the Dead Wings then, Avalnche was my second favorite team up until this year. Wish I could find a copy of the 1996 Western Conference Finals somewhere.

Lindros

Would be a beast in today's league...it was a different type of hockey back then..Stevens, Kasparitis, Konstantinov...guy had a huge target on his back every game.

Sad concussions ruined what would have been a great career. FWIW, i hated him back in the day

Washington is so frustrated by this guy

That was an extremely cheap shot. Pens with an opportunity to take control here.
Washington has definitely gone goon.

That's the series. If the Caps can't beat a team dressing essentially an AHL defense, they don't deserve to win the series. Total choke.

Trotz has got to go. That's some junior level hockey offense bullshite out there. 0 adjustments. And the stars should be ashamed of themselves. Same old shite.

It's not even worth tuning into the regular season anymore for the Caps. It never matters.

What do you mean zero adjustments? He changed lines in the middle of the game. He benched Schmidt. He started double shifting Ovie and Backstrom as well. They also were shooting high on Murray, which is his weakness. There were plenty of adjustments, particularly in game.

They just couldn't exploit a defensive corps that spent most of the season in Wilkes-Barre. Their #1 defender by ice time was Trevor Daley, a blueliner so bad he was on Dallas' third pair, and they are desperate for defense. There comes a point the players got to execute. Trotz can only do so much.
