So either Winnipeg or Montreal will make the semis while one of Colorado or VGK sits home - that is such a lame playoff format.

Why such a long break? 3 days is too long.

They have basically a hamster running in a wheel for a server.

It crashes over everything

Same thing people do at halftime at any other game. Go to the bathroom and get food/drinks.

Just one halftime but two intermissions that are longer than traditional halftime. One of my biggest barriers to actually enjoying hockey. I'll watch a period and then get distracted during the intermission and won't finish the game.

Not true. Get some stopwatches out next time.

I mean that's on you. When we're going into OT and next goal wins, for me it's all eyes on the screen must see TV. If you don't feel the same then it's not your idea of entertainment. And that's ok, it's not for everyone.

Umm no it’s basically how it’s always been until Gary tried to screw it up in mid ‘00. It places emphasis on winning your division first.

There was a year they seeded 1-16 in 70’s and Montreal played Edmonton first round.
