Crazy stat of the night...between Washington and VGK, all 7 series closeout wins came on the road.

Not that he's really a goal scorer, but Perron scored his first goal of the playoffs tonight and has 4 goals in 57 career playoff games.

Which is one of the reasons why the Blues didn’t protect him.

Congrats Caps, heck of a playoff run!!!
Was awesome watching Ovi lift "The Cup" afterwards, and the whole celebration was cool. Had good all-around vibes and one of the better "Cup" celebrations we've witnessed in awhile.
Well deserved and the Caps were dominate during the whole playoffs, they showed serious moxie after falling behind in every series, and their stars played like stars. With the history of the Caps, I'm not sure if anyone could've wrote a better playoff run than what just happened, well done Caps...
Again, enjoy it

I didn't get home until 3:30 this morning. I'm suffering but it was a hell of a night.

Do you want to get really hammered? Wait until the Capitals go to the White House and drink every time someone makes a Russian collusion joke when Trump and Ovechkin meet.

That would kill Keith Richards.

I'm in Montreal on business. Strangers were congratulating me in the bar, while also reminding me DSP and Eller came from the Habs. Merci! Merci!
I loved how this team continually dealt with adversity. And it always seemed like whoever made a big mistake would make a big play the next night or even the next period. This was a No Excuses team, and the first team to ever come from behind in four series to win the Cup. What a run.

when ovechkin gets his day with the cup, he is obviously taking it to russia to share with putin. my question is:
will putin give the stanley cup back?
will putin give the stanley cup back?

Lars Eller cemented himself as the Danish GOAT this playoffs.

Yes because Putin has seen the Cup before

Was messing up earlier but here are a few pictures now. The place is a giant club and I recommend it to everyone to make a trip out there to see your team against them. It was also 35-40 percent Caps fans in that arena last night, just simply incredible.
Got in at 1:30PM Vegas time and left at 1AM
what an insane 24 hours and incredible overall experience.
