Sorry. Didn't know he had an extension. I was using CapFriendly, and they didn't have it listed, those bastards. And of course y'all have good deals, but I was more listing the problems not the positives, as we are wont to do on elimination day.
I don't know, Columbus has a good team, but getting from good to great is the hardest part. I do like a lot of their core pieces, particularly that top pair, but I think now is the time to something bold. Trading Bob would qualify. Or wait for the Caps and Pens to run out of gas, as their windows are closing due to aging cores.

Malkin and Hegelin are out for Game 1. Caps lost the game the Penguins played without Crosby last year, so I wouldn't get my hopes up. This doesn't increase the Caps chances all that much.
