If that's all it is, some low level employee who hacked the system and simply leaked the emails, he'll get fired, he may face criminal charges, but if there was nothing more than embarrassment caused to the Astros, I don't think much will happen to the Cardinals, at least in the form of losing picks etc as people have talked about.

Are you talking about the stuff leaked to Deadspin from the Astros database in June last year? Because that is directly related to this
Deadspin claims that, but there's been nothing to substantiate it yet. Could be true. Wouldn't be surprised.

FWIW as a lifelong Astros fan I haven't seen anything said by a Cardinals fan that has rubbed me the wrong way. I have not read this ENTIRE thread but a solid amount of it.
The thing that I come away with the allegations is the Cardinals thought Lunhow was a very valuable asset to their success over the last 15 years which makes me as happy as our record right now.
I've been a pretty huge supporter of his unconventional rebuild since the day he arrived, this season has been a whole lot of validation so far for me.

That was prompted the Astros and MLB to report it to the FBI and the investigation that tracked it to the IP at a Cardinals employees house. Whoever did it for the Cardinals absolutely leaked it to the media as well
It would be quite the coincidence if not, either that or they passed it on to somebody who leaked it to Deadspin

Ok, yeah, that's it. Like I said, didn't read the whole thread. My bad.

It is embarrassing as a Cards fan, regardless of the final outcome. Some heads should roll for it and I'm sure they will.

Hard to argue against his track record.

I think so, yes he was a part of Cardinals success. The power struggle led to his demise in St Louis. Im not really surprised at all to see him doing well in Houston. Rebuilding and maintaining are different animals though so it will be interesting to see how he fares down the road.
Here is an article from STL Post Dispatch around the time when he was hired by the Stros if you are interested. LINK

I don't know whats the best part of this thread. The card fans getting trolled in it or the card fans acting like this is no big deal

there were people in the middle of this thread losing their minds over the comments about the cards losing the franchise or not being on tv and shite like that

Losing their minds? Come on bro. Most were laughing about that shite.
The funniest part of this thread is the pure irrational hate the Cards and their fans inspire in others.

Does laughing at said comments constitute "losing my mind"?

In other news Cardinals are 43-21, 22 games over .500 on Jun 16th.
