Spurs - Heat ‘13 and ‘14 Finals

What a great mini-rivalry this was. The ‘13 Finals was one for the ages. It was the new age superteam against the ageless dynasty. The Ray Allen shot coupled with a tight Game 7 cut through to my core.
The next year title by SA truly was destiny. They earned their rematch, and absolutely bombed the Heat. Couple that with the air conditioner going out in Game 1 and the ensuing cramps to Lebron, and you had some drama.
Great times.

Couldn’t stand the Heatles so I really enjoyed watching the Spurs best the absolute shite out of them

Heat were a bad team. Mavs rocked them in year one and that should be all that is remembered. They were losers.

It really wasn't all that. They had one entertaining series and even the 13 was boring up until like game 6. The last two games had everything you could ask for though.

That Spurs team that diced miami up in 2014 played the best team basketball I have ever seen in an NBA Finals.

If I were coaching a team I would make it mandatory they watch every game of the 2014 NBA finals. The superior athletes were clearly on the heat. The superior basketball team was the Spurs. Like poppovich said, they are faster than we are, but they can't move faster than we pass the basketball. Absolutely unbelievable the clinic they put on the heat. They won that finals by the widest total margin of points in finals history. And yes they had Parker Duncan ginobili and even kawhi, but let's be honest. They big 3 was on their last legs and kawhi wasn't what he is today. That series was won by the players buying in to the system. If you aren't open move the ball. Beautiful to watch
