Well its obviously them, they merged the frickin' league into what it is now.

But Colts are #1....In terms of growing the game.

1. '58 Colts
2. '68 Jets

And why are the fricking 2001 Patriots on this list? For cheating? And refs helping them to the title. I guess that's influential in exposing what a farce the league became.

Those who know that the NFL didn't begin on January 15, 1967.

2001 Patriots ahead of the 2007 Patriots? 2007 Patriots were the first team in NFL history to have over 50% of their offensive snaps come from shotgun. Seems pretty damn influential to me.

2021 Bengals if you know ball

Joe and Ja’Marr have completely changed the way modern defenses operate.

2009 Saints. 4 years after Hurricane Katrina they win the Super Bowl.

That’s an objectively poor list. Looks like an ignorant media person came up with it randomly one night while watching American idol alone with his cats.

Because, as hindsight clearly shows, that team would begin a defined 15+ year era that will always be "The Brady/Belichick" era. Only the greatest dynasty the sport has ever seen. Seems pretty influential in the sport's history to me.

Because they were better than given credit for and the launching pad for the NFL's greatest dynasty. To this day, point spread wise, it's the second biggest upset in the history of the Super Bowl.

The '85 Bears were a big deal.

Super Bowl Shuffle

That was the most dominant defense in a season I've ever seen.

1987 Skins should be in the top 10 because they had the replacement players which gave us the Replacements and Shane Falco

Yeah I feel the 85 Bears are too low. People still compare every great defense to them. The Super Bowl shuffle was legendary. shite an entire skit was developed on SNL after the Bears.
