The Royals ended the longest playoff drought in sports by making the WS and then winning it the next year.

Rams Super Bowl 1999 ended a 48 year drought. Also the best underdog story in football with Kurt Warner

Poor cubbies fan. Just upset that people stopped talking about the cubs after the Astros won.

For the love of God, don't tell me you're a Saints AND Rangers fan? Ultimate trash combo.

Could be worse, he could be a Astros and McNeese fan.

I don't consider the Saints Superbowl and Astros WS as drought enders...

A drought is an abnormal lull in the activity...

Boston and Chicago had not won a WS in a long time... They ended the droughts.

Saints and Astros had NEVER won one!

Sox and Cubs. Those were absolutely legendary droughts.

Cleveland was alright, but imagine if the Browns win a title. The crowd for the parade would be at least double the size.

Nobody outside of New Orleans (well, Louisiana I guess) really cared too much about the Saints winning. And hockey just doesnt move the needle all that much anymore with most folks.
