Sports Droughts Ended in the Last 20 Years

If you think about it, we have seen some truly amazing sports droughts ended in the last 20 years. Which do you think was the best to witness as a fan of sports?
Boston Red Sox World Series
Chicago Cubs World Series
Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Championship
New Orleans Super Bowl
Washington Capitals NHL Championship
St Louis Blues NHL Championship
I know I'm probably forgetting a few as well. I know that i am biased, but I personally think the most significant was Cleveland winning the NBA Title. That snapped a 50+ year drought for the city in ANY sport. While the other droughts mentioned were LONG droughts, those cities had championships in other sports. In any case, we have been witness to some amazing sports moments over the last 20 years. Feel free to add to the list...

You mention this trash, but leave out Houston's World Series title?
What are you qualifying as a "drought"? The Royals won the World Series in 2015, their first since 1985. The SF Giants won the 2010 World Series, their first since 1954. The Eagles won their first Super Bowl ever and first NFL title since 1960.

For the love of God, don't tell me you're a Saints AND Rangers fan? Ultimate trash combo.

Cubs and saints were the best. LSU in 2003 too. Just my objective opinion.

The Detroit Lions say hi, when's it our turn?

Ya'll had Stafford and Megatron and couldn't do it. Check back in 20 years.

Wasn't the Chicago Blackhawks drought almost 50 years?
Also forgot about the Philadelphia Eagles. That was 50+ years if you count their last championship as NFL champions pre-merger.

Take a Xanax. It'll be okay.
The Astros win was cool because of the drought and, no irony intended, the hurricane that year.

No way. As much as I dislike them, the Red Sox are a legendary franchise. So are the Cubs in fact. Both teams winning the championship moved the needle of their sport a lot more than the Cavs did.

TIL that winning a Super Bowl is considered "trash".
Try a little harder to hide your butthurt next time, dumbass.
