Did David Stern rig the '12 NBA draft?
I see no problem with this.

I've heard the theory that the reason why the Saints were chosen for the bounty scandal and the reason why Benson has been silent about it is because the leagues worked out a deal where he couuld get a sweetheart deal to buy the Hornets if he kept his mouth shut.
And rigging the draft was part of that deal.

Now, that makes perfect sense.

YES. After Stern retires it will come out. This is a lock, though. IMO

The conspiracy powers were hard at work in putting both Greg Oden and Kevin Durant in the Pacific Northwest.
But I'm sure "they" knew Oden would be injury prone and Durant would move to an even smaller market.

I'm more inclined to believe that the SEC just protects their golden child for the year. Auburn in 2010, Florida during their run, LSU, and Bama etc..
I said this Saturday, for sure after K State's win. LSU is gonna get screwed next week.

Sonny Liston took a dive against Muhammad Ali in the 1965 rematch
The 1972 Olympic Gold Medal game between the U.S. and the Soviets was rigged.

Any ref theory is absurd IMO. The margin for error on lots of these calls is so slim, and then they're magnified these days (almost literally) with HD cameras and TVs. Incompetence is 99.99 percent more likely than a conspirace. Plus, every fanbase is convince the refs are against their team, because of this game and that game. It's a point-of-view thing in which people are automatically biased. I dony buy any of this "SEC wants Alabama" nonsense.
The PP int call in 09? Wrong, of course. But conspiracy? Come on.
Auburn - LSU 06? Yeah a terribly officiated game. But again, incompetence not conspiracy.

Alabama's holding penalties?
I agree with you about everything else you said. Except I don't know if it was ever confirmed that an Alabama booster was in the replay booth or not. That sure does seem shady.

Miles was totally going to Michigan until Herbstriet blew the story.
Miles knew he still a good shot at the NC so he had to deny and deny hard because he didn't won't to risk the present for the possiblities of the future.
Miles had been trying to call Michigans AD, Bill Martin, and accept the job, but couldnt get a hold of him because he was out sailing. Herbie broke the story, and Miles backed out.
