While I don't think the ump is in the bag for either team, I must say I find it hard to believe that USMs pitchers just suddenly suck this bad. For UT, at least you could point to all of the catching errors that contributed.

It is a damn shame that a horrible umpire screws up a good game. Who the hell is this clown behind the plate? It's the college world series and they can't even get umps with a bit of consistency?
ARK-CSF ump was good. LSU-UVA was horribly inconsistent. ASU-UNC ump was good until the 9th when the strike zone was suddenly bigger than the batters' boxes. And this one is the worst of them all so far.
I cannot stand when a piece of shite takes one team out of it and lets the other in because he doesn't know how to view a submarine pitcher.

I don't think the ump is in the bag for Texas. I think he's just a shitty umpire who can't decide on a strike zone, and it's just happening to frick over USM in the process.
eta: and yeah I know I said the ump is a texas fan earlier

Dude with 2 outs, the bases loaded, and the score tied the pitcher threw 4 pitches that were 6 inches to a foot out of the zone......do you expect the ump to call those strikes?????
