You know your head coach is a terrible person when pretty much everyone other than your team’s fans root for UConn against you. Because Geno is also a Grade A prick, and yet, I enjoyed seeing UConn destroy South Carolina.

Most Gamecocks don't share Dawn's views. Most Gamecocks I know privately share the views of many on this board when it comes to her as a person. But we're a fanbase starved for success. They'll ignore her personality and views so long as she wins.

Man, I honestly never liked Geno and UCONN. I was hating them long before South Carolina had a pulse in Women's hoops.
But after that volleyball fiasco, for which no apology or admission of prematurely jumping to the wrong conclusion was ever made, and Dawn also saying Fargas could have done the same as Kim here had she had similar support - knowing full well that was false and ridiculous to say.....she quickly replaced Geno as the woman's team I most pulled against.

I will pull for all schools and teams in SC but pass on SC women's hoops and kind of enjoy watching them lose.
Women's hoops is pretty damn painful in general...I was in a bar during the UConn / Tennessee women's game a few weeks ago and found myself laughing out loud at some of the play. Two of "the best" and there were scenes of back to back airballs, girls just flinging it out of bounds...the lack of athleticism was truly something to behold.

her views are hers. Those of us who have had the pleasure of meeting her can attest to the fact she is just nice person. You wouldnt know that views differed.
that said, this thread is full of a lot of salty folks that are happy SC lost.....but don't remember what it's like for their team to be the one to beat SC. Stay salty my friends

She may have been nice to you, but that doesn't make her a nice person. Labeling people racist, and then doubling down on it despite evidence that it was a clear hoax is pretty much the antithesis of a nice person.

I don't care if she likes Kamala.
I do care that she allows her players to assault smaller players. I do care that she taunts opponents by playing their dead father's music. I do care that she perpetrated a racism hoax against BYU. I do care that she falsely accused LSU fans of not supporting the program under Nikki (implying it was because Nikki is black and Mulkey is white, ignoring the fact that we supported Pokey at the same level).
Those are all examples of classless behavior.
