Here comes WestCoastAg to laugh at us for thinking Russell is immature

He's actually having a pretty good season considering he's a rookie and his team is garbage.
In regards to the video. It's just further proof to me why some kids need to stay in college longer for maturity reasons. Clearly he is good enough to be an NBA player, but maturity wise he isn't there yet. To be 19, have a multi-million dollar contract, and be thrown into a workplace with grown men when you aren't mature enough to handle it is just asking for something to go wrong to me.

True, this is a new low, though. I'm not sure we've seen this level of immaturity before.

Yea, for sure. But it's still a pretty big difference. If he did it himself there really might be a code red situation.

That's what they need to do. No cameras, no witnesses, just give him a good arse whipping one time and move on.
Not this passive-aggressive high school girl shite.

At a recent breakfast meeting, one source said, no Laker would sit with Russell at his table. The source added that, in another instance, Russell came into the locker room and sat next to guard Lou Williams, who got up and walked away.

I understand that Russell broke bro code(which is such a dumb fricking concept here), but I cant beleive the piece of shite culture of not giving a shite about family is so normal it has become completely accepted by us

If he did this on a football team he'd damn near have to quit. The odds of at least 1 person rip your face off would be pretty high.

Ehhh, the Riley Cooper incident seems worse to me (assuming D'Angelo didn't leak this himself) and he got through it fine.

Ehhhhhh, I disagree. If you don't have kids, okay. The judgment is fair enough. If you're married with kids, I'm not so quick to call someone a POS. Of course, I don't think Young falls into the latter.

Here you come with a really severe opinion on d'angelo based off his numerous immature actions that range from celebrating on the bench to yelling on the bench

quote:Not even close. It was bad, but MUCH different. Russell secretly films people's worst secrets, ones that could end huge parts of their lives, and posts it online. That, that doesn't fly

I'd like to point out again that we still don't know exactly what happened. Taking the video is weird and dumb but it happened months ago. If he thought he deleted it and it was scooped off his phone that's way different than leaking it or sending it to his buddies who let it out. But I agree with what you said.
I also think a lot of these basketball prodigy types are missing social skills we take for granted. They transfer to basketball factories, are in and out of college, some have probably never had a real friend since they were in elementary school. That was obviously a problem with Kobe. D'angelo might have that in addition to being really immature and dumb.

That's why I said it doesn't apply to Nick. I just didn't like it as a blanket statement.
