It would just cause an identity crisis for the bulls for the rest of the playoffs. And this put thibs in a tough spot. Do you play your rusty star in the closing minutes of the game? Or do you play the guy who's been his replacement all season who's been hot? Either way, if they lose, they will blame him for not playing the other guy.

Even if he did come back, I can't see him being able to play more than 12-15 minutes. If he leads your second unit in their minutes in the second/third quarters and can provide a little scoring pop in a game or 2 its probably worth it.

It's not like they're up 30 at the half of Game 7 of the Finals and now he wants to play. Being up 1-0 in the semis means very little. They won a game, they aren't on the brink of history.

Ideally, the Bulls would wait til he's 100% to put him back on the court but if he's at least 85% then put his arse out on the court.

I fully believe he will be dressed in game gear in Game 3. Whether he plays is something totally different. The NBA is praying on its hands and knees he does come back this series. The ratings would go through the roof.

be the dumbest move he and bulls organization could make. toss a player who is scared he will get hurt again, who has not played a min all year, who will mess up every bit of team chemistry chicago has going for them right now.. and for what? d rose to try and get in the spotlight now that he sees his team is succeeding without him? this should be good
