today South Korea beat Latvia 1-0 in a friendly

Chelsea's worst nightmare happened at the African Cup of Nations... no, no one got shot in a bus raid (too soon ) Essien is out for six weeks. Ancelotti says they won't hit the transfer market. I'm I thought they were banned due to some scandal

Sir Alex Ferguson is always talking about something. Maybe one day it will be about Man U's 700 million pound debt.

Portsmouth is all but down, and they could go into administration (bankruptcy) in three weeks

quote:

Tevez exacted his revenge by scoring both goals at Eastlands. Following his first, Tevez made the internationally recognised gesture for 'you mouthy git' towards substitute Neville, who responded by flipping the bird at his former colleague, and after the second goal he cupped his ears in the direction of the executive box that housed the United money-men at Eastlands.

what is it about Man City? First Adebayor celebrated against Arsenal, and now Carlos Tevez against Man Utd? Keep it up and they'll take over from Liverpool as my favorite contending team

you want Ibrahimovic????? you can get him one day. his agent says he's not finishing his career on the omnipotent Barcelona. Maybe MLS is in his future?

Premier League

Hull at Man Utd... Man U doesn't get their rest from being knocked out of the FA Cup yet, while Hull is only behind Wolves (and safety) due to a difference of one goal.

Hopefully Fulham can manage to beat a League Two side. Bastards can beat Liverpool, Manchester United and play well against the big sides, but they can't beat the likes of Stoke and Blackburn. fricking posers. Damn injuries are killing them now, too (Pantsil, Zamora, Dempsey). Gonna be a rough second half.

Munich vs Bremen is a big game, going round to a mates' to watch it even though it's already played.

Birmingham City just eliminated Everton 2-1. Everton outplayed Birmingham the entire 2nd half but couldn't overcome a 2-0 halftime deficit.

all bars and clubs in west yorkshire, jonathan woodgate will be in town a week tuesday.

off the top of my head, 3 former leeds players in the spurs squad. woody, lennon and keano. somewhere the little kid that cried when we lost 4-1 to bolton confirming our relegation 6 years ago is grown up now and ready to shave a new line in lennon's eyebrow.

FA Cup... Man City wins, Arsenal loses to Stoke, so three of the so-called "big four" are out of the FA Cup before the round of 16. It's Chelsea's to lose.

Inter Milan beats AC Milan with 9 men and Mourinho had something to say:

"We would have won this game even with seven men. Maybe with six we would have struggled, but we would have won with seven... Everything was done today to try and prevent Inter from winning, but my squad is strong and we will win the Scudetto, but I will leave it at that. This is your country and your league. I am just a foreigner working here. One day, I will go and leave this problem with you."

Tuesday in the Premiership... Portsmouth hosts West Ham. now we're starting to know who plays who in relegation battles... Burnley at Bolton. another one

Spurs host Fulham... Wolves get another crack at Liverpool

two more African Cup of Nations quarterfinals: Egypt-Cameroon and Zambia-Nigeria. Argentina plays Costa Rica in a friendly

Wednesday... Arsenal at Aston Villa, Chelsea hosts Birmingham, Sunderland at Everton, and Wigan at Blackburn, which should be boring

South Africa vs. Zimbabwe in a friendly.

Mourinho is awesome.

Did I miss the thread about how awful the USMNT was this weekend? If that's the best non-starter squad we can field, well that's just embarrassing.
