you give yourself way too much credit. no one gives a shite about you and the fricking pelicans.

I, for one, was really excited to see Zion play regardless of the team. I hope he isn't seriously injured

Zion was mentioned 443 times on ESPN last week, and the Pelicans are on national TV 30 times. I think someone cares.

No agenda there. Especially when they cram the ACC and Duke down our throat every year.

Who is rooting for Zion to fail? Guy seems unanimously well-liked.

The injury began with all the Coach K flopping drills he had to do at Duke.

Which could still be a meniscus, which is typically a 4-6 injury.

I hope it isn't and they are just being insanely cautious.

He isn't missing the season. It sounds like a month at most, which would be 13 games of an 82 game season, most of them against playoff contenders that the Pels would have problems with anyway.

I wouldn't downgrade Zion much at all. MAYBE a round.

Stephen A is calling it a "meniscus strain" so not a tear.

Meniscus strains generally don't require surgery, just rest, elevation and icing, and can take about 4 weeks to recover from if there is no tear.
