Nope. Never went to LSU and never had sights on going there. Started out at Louisiana Tech and changed my major to something not offered there. So I transferred to UL Lafayette.

i didn't grill them. but all 3 did say they didn't like BR. one is frosh, one soph, one junior

I don't know what schools have small classes for into courses anyway. So what you have 900 kids in Theatre 1010. The class is not designed to be so difficult to have to meet with the teacher.

Where I went to school yes this was exactly the case. Anyone who had an ok GPA and a good enough ACT score for LSU never considered ULL.

come to think of it, out of all the people i know, the kids of people i know, none have ever transferred to LSU...why would anyone transfer from UL to LSU?

I transferred from LSU to Tulane. Love BR. Love Nola. I'd like to hear some non-generic reasons to not like BR. I have some if I really wanted to spout, but actually seems like some of what I didn't like changed after I left. But I didn't leave because I didn't like it.

You're here talking shite about LSU, a school you are a fan of despite not having dick to do with the university. My guess is you were a big LSU fan, you went to ULL, then ULL has a good team and presto. shite talking LSU. But that username doesn't go away. So now all of this nonsense about LSU arrogance. In terms of football, they're miles ahead of teams like Tulane and ULL. Big deal
What I'm getting at, is
Like all ULL fans/alums whatever...you just have to root for LSU because they compete with the big dogs. You have to have a team that is "in it" I assume, and don't hold your breathe, if ULL was contending for SEC titles...you wouldn't be an LSU "fan" you'd be ULLhoohoo. Don't worry, I'm sure many of the LSU fans mocking ULL are sidewalk fans as well

nobody from my high school chose ull over lsu. the ones that went to ull went because they didn't get into lsu.

yep. at least Tulane has been there before. Founding member of the SEC and gave it up intentionally.
Tulane has been places athletically ULL could only dream to go. Tulane may be a has been, but ULL is a never will be.
