If anyone got screwed it's the Bills. The fact the Chiefs, a team the Bills beat, get home field is BS. Frankly I think everyone overreacted with this. Should have been replayed.

Where do you go to hear all of your daily Bengals and Bills news? fricking idiot.

You act like people can't follow players through their pro careers, especially if they played at a college said people attended or root for.

It's such a weird thing to be offended by. And clearly, it has hit a nerve of his.

The Bengals controlled their own destiny for the 2 seed.
They had a chance for the 1 seed (needed to win out and Chiefs drop 1).

Now:
Bengals cannot get the 1 seed.
Bengals need the Bills to lose to get the 2 seed (they don’t control their own destiny).

Beyond that, if the Ravens beat the Bengals and play around 1 against each other, then a coin flip ensues for home field. This is based on the logic that the Bengals could have lost Week 17 and thus the Ravens would have won the division and the home playoff game for beating Cincy

However, if the Bills and Bengals both win Week 18 and play in the second round, the game is in Buffalo. Why do the Bengals not get a coin flip here based on the assumption that they could have won Week 17 and thus gotten the 2 seed.

This is mind boggling unfair especially when the team getting fricked is the team that was up 4 with the ball at midfield in a game where the other team’s injury resulted in a cancellation.

. The whining about the Bengals is sad and pathetic and tone deaf.

The only people who get their feelings hurt is zoomers who don't understand this shite has happened in sports before and they played the game.

They can, but the MSB was Saints Talk 2.0 for awhile when the Saints were good. That all disappeared and all of a sudden, the MSB is Bengals Talk. That's the issue, most of ya'll jumped ship and hopped aboard the Bengals bandwagon. At least Auburn/Camther fans had an excuse with no pro team in the state.

a glass less than half full is bengals did not have to play full game. no injuries or bruises.

They should have picked a day to play the game. During Covid teams were forced to play games with backups and practice squad guys making up the guys on the field.

I'm not from nor do I live in Louisiana. My state (TN) didn't have a team when I was growing up, so I never developed any real attachment to the Titans either once they did move to my state. TBH, the only pro team I have a real rooting interests in is the Memphis Grizzlies because I grew up in Memphis and it's all we ever have had. So yeah, I follow Burrow and root for his team just like Tennessee fans did with the Colts. I don't know why so many people find it weird. It happens all the time, especially with transcendent players in the Southeast, a place that hasn't had a huge NFL presence for long. Until the mid 90s, it was the Saints and Falcons and that was it. I wouldn't expect a Packers fan from Wisconsin to necessarily relate, but it is what it is.

Some of you are very angry for no reason. I lived in Nola long ago, not any more and I have personal friends that are fans of both teams. None of them are upset that there was a change because someone almost died.

You all really need to check priorities to be so enraged over this decision.

Someone almost dying shouldn’t have the nfl give every team involved some sort of concession except for the Bengals. Bengals got the ol’ “tough luck” from the front office while at the same time they gave the Bills assurance they wouldn’t have to travel to Cincy nor KC.

I don’t know if you’re being intentionally obtuse or are just this dense.

The outrage isn’t over the fact that a change has occurred, the outrage is over the change that the nfl has decided to implement.

Most people understand and are okay with the game being postponed that night and knew it would require the NFL to make some sort of change to account for the game.

By the way, it's a game, you probably overly love Cincinnati like everyone else in Louisiana, stop it and grow up.

someone almost died so that means the bengals get fricked over, obviously.

not sure why, but the bengals (who were the nice guys in all of this, btw) are supposed to live with it, no one else

not even mentioned yet is that they lost a home game and will have played 7 home games and 9 road games when everyone else involved will have at least 8 home games.

Because you claimed earlier the Bengals didn’t care about the league’s decision:

Zac Taylor unhappy with league resolution

Bengals RB unhappy with league ruling

So a football game is more important to you than someone possibly dying on a football field? Got it now

Goodell really has turned the NFL into a big frickin' joke.
