So, Josh Innes called out one of my basketball buddies on air yesterday...

So, I am in a tight basketball group that plays every week. Most of the guys are in their 40's and 50's...we maybe can't move like we used to, but everyone is a pretty solid player. We normally play in a local gym but it was unavailable on Wednesday evening, so we had to play at an outdoor court. I was not present because I was leading my baseball team to another victory.
So, I guess Josh and some other 610AM (Houston) guys showed up at this same park to hoop it up...and there was an incident between Josh and one of my buddies. This is Josh's side of the story, as told on the air yesterday:

Let me just say though, they really sucked. Especially Mike Meltzer. He could not play a bit therefore it is embarrassing for him to talk NBA when he sucks so bad. Innes was telling him how to do a pick and roll.
It is funny.
They were on my frickin team and they froze me out after scoring 7 of 9 in an opening game win
And, we were actually nice to them. Offered our bottle water and didn't scream at them for terrible play.

he had run ins with the TD basketball group when he played with them. He accused thelittlearristotle of being mean to him or something and they all said he was a total fat slob vag who stood around the 3 pt line all game despite being 6'5 370lbs.

one of the worst pickup hoops players ever.
least talented and least fun to play with.
slow, behemesloth hovering around the 3 point line. Slamming the ball off the front rim and backboard. Late on defense except for the occasional clumsy and hard foul. Constantly out rebounded and out hustled by shorter players. Lazy at making passes. No handle but tried to take the ball up the court and called fouls when the ball was taken from him. And he would call for the ball in the post when he FINALLY went down there. Problem? He had stone hands. And had absolutely NO back to the basket game.

fantastic td radio would have survived gustav if you talked about this on air IMO

because aristotle knows how to play basketball. and aristotle got really tired of josh's attitude on the court. tLA is a fairly intense player on the court but he's super fair and doesn't put up with bullshite.
josh came out in like gear and a headband and the proceeded to whine, huff, wheeze, brick, curse, and slop up the court for an hour. and i think finally tLA was sick of his complaining and told him something.
bullied? tLA = 5'9 165 lbs.

I played 4-5 games one day with the people from this board, and josh was there. I don't think he scored in any of the games. He was visibly intimidated.
