Why didnt they call the illegal pick play the chiefs called to give them the lead late in the game. Or any of the pass interferences kc committed? (Including on the play where they were called for the phantom roughing the passer and on the 3rd dowm gronk caught at the 4)

Because Refs are usually incompetent boobs, not biased.

I think all of those calls late that went in the Patriots favor were the right calls.

I don't think the refs are out to help the Pats.

But they've had massively game altering breaks late in games where stuff you're talking about is a bit more, "let em play" type stuff.

Stuff like this. Or the 3rd and 8 on Sunday where the rusher's glove fibers kissed the paint on Brady's face mask.

So they can't make it seem to obvious that they favor the Pats, but people think they purposely missed the most egregious PI in football history?

The only correct answer. They need to make these guys full-time, fine them when they make bad calls, grade them at the end of the season, and fire the ones that get failing grades.

Here’s what gronk deals with on almost every pass route with no PI call

And during that same 4th quarter Pats CB JC Jackson got called I believe 1-3 times for tic tac holding/PI calls to get KC in the red zone

Here’s the pick play that wasn’t called by KC that they scored to go ahead late

Called the pick play on the Patriots earlier in the game

Here’s the dorsett TD catch that they did not call PI on (no idea why the Asian people are superimposed on the pic. Lifted from twitter

Also just for fun I saw a couple people who thought Dee Ford wasn’t offside or he was offside because the tackle was off set too far back and welp:

I’d say the chiefs got the benefit of the officials if anything in that game towards the end of the game.

The only thing I think they truly fricked up is, they said 100% without a doubt Edleman didnt touch the ball, then couldnt say 100% Hogan didnt catch that pass?

But I dont think it was rigged, i just think the ref just really really fricked that up

At the time I thought an overturn would be tough on review, but also felt like he didn’t touch it and the fallback on the call on the field is a pretty weak rule in general. But I didn’t expect them to overturn it. Which ended up not mattering at all due to the turnover right afterwards

There were two Hogan reviews, and I think they got both right.

I just think it was more obvious Hogan didnt catch his pass than Edelmen didnt touch the ball, and yet the official overturns the less obvious one and keeps the more obvious one

But I didnt think the officials overall were not that bad in the game

I'm a big defender of Gronk and how he gets mugged all the time with no calls.

I don't know how someone can say dude wasn't running a route on that pick play. He was like, absolutely running a route..

Holy shite, man. Dorsett literally runs straight to the DB and locks him up and blocks him like a run play before the ball is ever thrown. THAT is what not running a route looks like.

Was the Hogan review the one where the reviewed if he had control as the ball hit the ground?

I didn't think that was a catch at all..

What was the call on the field?

There were two Hogan reviews. Both were called catches on the field, one stood and the other was overturned

I think people are confusing the two

I'll go look at the Chiefs pick again.

It isn't perfect video like the Dorsett one is.
