Ya know, I'm really interested in seeing how Texas shows up for this game.
Do they come out down in the dumps because we're not playing in the BCS Title Game and pretty much just give a ho-hum effort? Because Ohio State would definitely have a shot there.
If we come out pissed off and wanting to make a statement though......

And 0-8 against the SEC...my advice to you is to shut your mouth while there's still time to salvage yourself.

I think OSU gives Texas a hell of a game!!!! Remember OSU has something to prove!! They got creamed the last two years by similar teams as Texas!! They want to show they belong!!!

Also, I like how everybody forgets that OSU beat Texas 2 years ago. In fact, thanks to Colt McCoy Laurinitis got put in the national spotlight with an interception or two.
I really would be surprised if 1) Texas didn't win and 2) OSU lost by more than 14.

I see how this works. Our team sucks and is non existent in the college football world this year, soooo lets flame the Buckeyes. They are an easy target since they got blown out the last two years in the NC game and barely beat a horrible Troy team! 4-2 in the BCS is a garbage record
And you would have gave your right nut to have Mr. Pryor on your team this year.

Yea, I'm thinking Texas by 10 to be honest. I wouldn't put money on a game that far away though...Pryor/Beanie could get hurt in practice and then OSU's ship is sunk. At the same time, if Colt wins the Heisman I think the line will move up a little too due to people betting more on TX.

yeah, i usually wait until closer to game time but i really think this line might move to OSU little once the emotion leaves and people start looking at the matchup. I think UT by 7, with a late score by OSU to make it that close.

I'd like to think you'll find a much more relaxed Ohio State team since the world for once isn't on their shoulders. Our younger guys are as talented as anyone elses, so Tressel just needs to trust them a little more IMO
: kige : but I will say Holtz is pretty biased to Ohio St (not as bad as ND, though), since he started his coaching career as a graduate assistant to Woody Hayes.

Deep down, I don't think Ohio St can win this game, but I would LOVE to watch the epic meltdown in Austin were they to win. They would be burning down every gay bar in the city. Go Bucks!
