That’s the thing. They aren’t even arguing ND isn’t better or more deserving, they are saying the committee should ask Bama who they want as the better matchup

You can make a great case that Notre Dame is better than Oklahoma. In fact, I think they are.

Oklahoma matches up better against Bama, though. But that’s not how this works. They put the 3rd best team third and the 4th best team fourth. They aren’t looking at it by which team will be easier for Bama to beat.

And yet they still won. I am not sure what your point is but by accident you make the case that they’re a bunch of winners who don’t want to take the easy way out.

I'm not mad. I'm even pointing out that Bama has gotten an advantage of skipping the CCG when they lose. I'm throwing you guys a bone. Now when Bama is CLEARLY the most dominant team undefeated #1 SEC Champ, they get the tougher matchup for it. Isn't that weird? Isn't that arse backwards? It's literally better for Bama to lose a game. I thought LSu fans would agree. Maybe try to pretend I'm not a Bama fan and we're talking about someone else in that situation and think about it. Try to divorce yourselves of your crazy blind hatred

That's what rational football fans have been complaining about in regards to you guys for years

When the privilege is so strong that you actually think it's a disadvantage

They are very scared of Kyler, and rightfully so. I’ve been saying that OU is the only team that could keep up with Bama. It’s going to be a ridiculous game.

The obvious and clear #1 team SHOULD have privilege to the worst team. That's literally what seeding is

Again, you can’t know this until after. The hypothetical game you are “incentivized to lose” could keep you out of the playoffs completely. You are being irrational. You are the 1 seed and get to play the only team in the playoff with a loss and you are somehow complaining? I don’t get it

And you literally do.

There's no universe where this Oklahoma finishes higher than this Notre Dame.

2014. Undefeated FSU was ranked behind 1-loss teams. Because the committee said it was simply about 4 best teams

The problem is that all of this is predicated on the false belief that Bama did something to cause Oklahoma to be the 4th seed (assuming that’s what they are) which is of course ridiculous. They lost to Texas and that has nothing to do with anything Bama has or could have done.

Welcome to 2011, when there were only 2 teams that make it

Alabama w Saban has every privilege

The built in breaks only get magnified when a team that does everything right to win forces 3 fumbles on critical plays that are recovered by the player that fumbled, in addition to missing a chip shot FG by a GA Halloween icon goggle-eyed K.

Just shut up, really. LOL

This makes no sense.

One, they're not even guaranteed top 4 if they had lost.

Second, they'd be playing Clemson most likely if they lost, which is a tougher matchup than OU.

I think it’s ridiculous that Bama is asked to play any of these games. They should watch from the box suite and be presented with the trophy by the winner. On blended knee

Bama fans melting over having to face OU all while believing they can beat the Bills with Peterman

How is it "clearly" better when you conceded in your OP that Bama may not even make it to the playoffs had they lost?
