I remember a Sports Illustrated cover of 44-0 after the Bears routed the Cowboys in the 80s.

Side note: you ever race against Hauck?

My bad. 61-7 in 1980 when the Packers were really bad.

Didn't run NSSR but were not far off the record with our Thundercats.

When I heard Clement I had to look it up to see if was the same guy. Been in the league for a while now.

That was satisfying to watch. Also nice when the opposing team starts throwing hands on the sidelines, especially the skins.

Snow has arrived

On paper, this Cowboys team appears to have "it" going into the playoffs. The Packers have struggled mightily of late against inferior opponents (which is all opponents) but I feel they have been sandbagging it as of late. Thoughts?

I think we are seeing a Joe Barry defense, made worse by missing a couple parts.

The offense I'm not sure on. They look awesome then don't. I don't know if LaFleur is throttling back and then the defense fades making the games close or what is going on.

They should be scoring more points. But then Rodgers did miss a couple really easy throws last game that he normally doesn't. Makes those and the game looks much different.

eta-With the patchwork O line I guess we should be happy they are performing as well as they are. Getting Bahk in the lineup soon may help.

They want Cowboys - Packers @ Lambeau

It would be a ratings bonanza, I can see the multiple references to the Ice Bowl and other Cowboys - Packers matchups of years past. They want it bad if Bucs flame out quick in the playoffs.

They'll have to turn it up a notch or two from where they are right now.

Ice Bowl II would be interesting though.

Ice Bowl II already happened (Packers destroyed the Cowboys 11/23/1997) so it would have to be Ice Bowl III unless you count “the catch” game.

This was more about WFT being a bottom four team than Dallas being any good. Let's watch Dallas against someone with a pulse.

WFT are worse than Houston. They need to dump ALL assets for as many picks as possible and rebuild.

I actually disagree. They need to find a QB first and foremost, but they have pieces there. If they can get a component QB and another receiver and some line help, they’ll be good. Defense is usually solid
