the Bama that showed up vs LSU or the one that showed up vs Vandy?
People have to quit pretending teams play the same every game. If SMUs QB wasn't shitting his pants in a whiteout game @ Penn State in 20 degree weather they'd be very much in this game.
See that's the thing. Everyone or at least those with half a brain knew this game was going to be a blow out. SMU hasnt beaten anyone with it pulse this year. Zero top 25 wins and yet, Bama has wins over Georgia and South Carolina. Bama is flawed, absolutely, but theyve actually beaten really good teams this year. Tjey would've had a legit chance to make a run in the playoffs had the gotten in ,while everyone knew SMU was going out in the first round. Indiana is also another that had no business being in. These first round games are laughably bad with the exception of Tennessee -Ohio St. They had the chance to have some killer matchups, but chose this shite.

We've really been spoiled by the NFL entertainment model of having damn near every game come down to one score.
Bad games happen. Deal with it. It'll be that much more worth it when an all-time classic comes around.
