You would have to compare the semis or the title game to the 4 team playoff or BCS. The 4 team playoff regularly had blowouts, maybe gathering momentum in the earlier rounds will make the final 4 more watchable.
The bowl games that happened before Christmas are normally a bunch of shitty G5 teams. I'm glad we get these as pre-christmas postseason football honestly.

think ND is a bad matchup for a banged up UGA team that is going to be run heavy.
He provided a spark that wasn't there with Beck for most of the season, but was QB2 for a reason and looked awful when he threw that pick.
Limited play time concealed his faults but now having to play several playoff games (or just one if they lose) we'll see what he's really made of on the field.

Not a bad setup.
It beats when you use ESPN plus and if you fall asleep you wake up to either the same jazz bass line on repeat or the same 12 second espn plus commercial on constant repeat
