Its even more shocking considering the fact that KD is a more skilled offensive player than LeBron.
He's scored 9 points total in the last 3 4th Qrts.

will it make you feel better if the fake tv character who purposely takes shitty stances does this?
Posted on 5/16/13 at 8:02 am to Rittdog
No. It was dumb with LeBron and it is dumb with KD.
Lets try to avoid encouraging stupidity

No he doesn't. His stance on Lebron was stupid. Duplicating that stupidity and forcing Durant to deal with it would accomplish nothing.

I really only blame LeBron for blowing the series against the Mavs.
He did. But, I have always thought the reason he did was because he deferred to Wade that year as the team leader. In the finals when he should have taken the reins he remained in the background.

skip bayless is a piece of shite, so him not treating all athletes fairly is asking too much of him

KD has to broaden his game to take it to the next level. All the greats do. KD has to learn how to post up and back down smaller defenders and pass out of double teams from the post. Lebron had to develop a better jump shot. Jordan had to do a little of both of those. All part of the progression of becoming a great.
Skip Bayless needs to be ignored.

This is how Skip is the grand troll:
1. For the best player in that sport (LeBron, Tiger Woods, etc.), Skip will play the expectation game where he's like I expect him to have an awesome game, carry his team, blah blah and then when that said player does what Skip 'expected', Skip is all like, "yeah, I predicted it. I'm a fricking genius." BUT, when that said player comes up short and they don't win, Skip bashes the living hell out of that said player and Skip still wins because he gets a talking point.
Here's an example from last year related to LeBron (ofc)
Game 6, Heat down 3-2 to the Celtics, Skip says he 'expects' LeBron to have a great game and when it did happen, all Skip talks about was how he was right the whole time and hardly gave credit to LeBron for putting one of the best playoff performances ever. We know if LeBron played like shite and the Heat bounced out, Skip would be the first one calling them out like the bitch he is, so basically he wins in every outcome.
tl;dr edition: Skip is such a master troll that he wins in every possible situation

KD needs to beef up then. I'll admit the kid is a baller but he is WEAK AS frickKK. I think at the combine he couldn't even bench 185. He needs to get his arse in the gym this summer if he wants to work in the post

Skip Bayless has done his job successfully yet again.

I hate to even say this but it aggravates hell out of me. KD is not a more skilled offensive player. He's a better shooter. That's it. LBJ gets in the paint better. Takes better shots. Scores at a higher percentage and has more assist. LBJ literally does every single thing better offensively but Durant is a better outside shooter so he's considered more skilled?

Goddamnit. If people stopped talking about Skip Bayless he would go away. Do you people see what you're doing?

Saying LeBron blew it against the Mavs is the short version of the story.
The long version is..
1. Spo's offense sucked and turned LeBron into stand in the corner 3 point shooter once the Mavs went zone.
2. You're right. LeBron had been clutch all playoffs against the Bulls and Celtics. But once he failed in the clutch in game 2...its like he said "DWade's been here before I'll let him close it" He deferred in game 3 and they won. So he kept with it and it backfired.
3. Most importantly......He looked dead tired in that series. A man 6'9 270 playing 44 mins a game should not be chasing Terry off screens and having LeBron bring the ball up the court. Too much wasted energy. Drained him.
But no matter how we cut it up. They should have probably swept the Mavs. Spo/LeBron 50/50 to blame for that series.

Since the finals last year I've gotten the impression that KD is everything LeBron was accused of being 3-4 years ago
