LeBron didn't defer to Wade in the 2011 Finals. The Mavs took a calculated risk by picking Wade as their poison and denying LeBron the ball. They wanted Wade to be the go to guy and did just enough to freeze LeBron out that it worked.
Is it really that hard for people to accept the 2011 Mavs were a team that was perfectly put together to play against any type of opponent?
LeBron and the Heat didn't lose that series. The Mavs flat out took it from them just as they did to Portland, LA, and OKC.
