I may not like his trollish behavior, but he wasn’t callous.

I was very hesitant to post anything on social media last night as the situation was unfolding, so Skip, and many others, would have been better suited to just not let the world know what you are thinking...

But Skip’s tweet actually said how hard it would be to send the players back out. He also clearly stated that at this point the results of the game seem irrelevant.

Social media has made people lose all sense of comprehension. They just want to poke out their chests at how morally superior they are than someone they don’t like.

After hearing him say “I” a dozen times in the first few minutes, the channel was switched to something else.

Skip is a highly intelligent troll. Trolling is his game, and he knows it’s his money maker. So he plays it very well. That tweet was written to confuse and anger the idiots and show nuance and gravity to the intelligent. He got the reaction he’s looking for bc everyone is talking about him

Skip explaining his tweet. around 1:50

I don't like Skip, but I definitely believe what he said was misinterpreted and his wording was just poor.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing last night.

Everyone was calling for him to be canceled, but if you read the tweet it’s written in an obfuscating manner where it gives him plausible deniability. He added the addendum about how the outcome seems so insignificant.

I think Skip is a shitheel and he’s been doing this for a quarter century in multiple different mediums, but I also don’t think there was malice in his tweet.

It’s not an addendum, that’s the biggest point of the tweet, is the greater context and bigger picture. People that didn’t fully appreciate that are the ones trying to cancel him

He poorly worded what he was trying to say. But I do understand his tweet now.

For folks that don’t have Twitter, post the tweet.

It really wasn’t poorly worded at all.
He said, “How are you going to cancel an NFL game?”

not

“Why are you going to cancel an NFL game?”

It’s not his fault that idiots on twitter don’t understand proper English.

It really was poorly worded. From the first read, he made it sound like it was a bad thing that the NFL was considering postponing the game. That's not what he was trying to say, but that is how alot of people understood it.

If the majority of people misunderstood what you were trying to say, then chances are there was an issue with how you communicated.

There’s no reason for a person to dumb down their speak, to cater to people that only understand slang.

It wasn’t just the single tweet.

It was the combination of three that made him look like the arse that he is.

He didn't even mention Hamlin's name in his initial post. He can eat shite acting like he wasn't being his normal chode self. SMH at anyone foolish enough to give a professional shite poster like him the benefit of the doubt. That frickstick knew exactly what he was doing.
