Did grad school at LUC several years back and had the pleasure of meeting Sister Jean a few times. Such an incredible personality.

When she came out a couple of weeks ago and said she was retiring from going to games I knew the end was near.

God Bless her. She lived a wonderful, full life in service of The Lord and she has already received her heavenly reward.

RIP Sister.

Thanks for sharing. Love women that love sports. She was a great fan.

Hope hell isn't too rough on the poster that downvoted the OP.

Here’s a real feel-good story. This precious lady had a great life and touched a lot of young lives.
May she truly rest in eternal peace.

When she was born, Babe Ruth was still playing for the Red Sox, and the Black Sox scandal had yet to happen.

I have a decent number of friends that went to Loyola. She’s obviously well-known nationally due to the Final Four run, but she was extremely active throughout that campus, not just with the basketball team. My friends have lots of stories of interacting with her on the campus shuttle, in her office, etc. Definitely an incredible woman.

I told my wife the same thing.

Crazy what she saw and witnessed

Pretty sure my father in law peed on her.

He was a student at Loyola and had too much to drink one night. On the way home he relieved himself over a railing. He made too much noise and the school's nuns walked out of door below where he was pissing.

He was expelled and sent to Vietnam.
