Number to beat is 427. Jarret Patterson(Buffalo) at 206 on 10 carries in the 1H so far. I'm rooting for him.

Nothing will eclipse Melvin Gordon 408 in only 3 quarters against Nebraska.

200 yards away means it’s in jeopardy?

Yeah, I should've waited till he's 426 to start a thread.

They're also within 700 yards of catching GA Tech's record of 922 rushing yards.

Yes because that's an absurd YPC. Unless there's something flukey that has happened to lead to that, or he gets hurt in the 2nd half, that record is certainly in jeopardy.

at 247, 5TDs. What's the rushing TD record? Howard Griffith(Illinois) with 8 in 1990. Never heard of him.

This analogy doesn't make sense. He may not hit the record, but what makes the OP legitimate is his average and how much volume he could still get.

still depends on how he was getting it and maybe the score (he gets pulled if it’s a blowout)

So he needs 160...if he can do 10 YPC, obviously that's 16 carries.

has rushed 18 times as of halftime, most he's rushed this year is 31, he ran for 30+ 4 times last year

The other thing that's interesting is the setup is conducive to his coach running it since they have the lead but it's a close game.

What's the rushing TDs in a game record? He's already at 5.

Never heard of Howard Griffith? Must be a college football millennial.

Just scored a TD on that drive but didn't get that much production out of it.

Now at

24 carries
297 YDS
6 TD
10:01 3Q

Gonna be close
