Will be kneeling in protest of the number of black men killed by police during the National Anthem Friday before their game.

Also in the Shreveport Times two young black males are wanted for stabbing to death an 80 year old white woman and stealing money and her car.

I think they're wrong, but I'm willing to have a discussion about it. The thing that pisses me off is they don't know a damn thing about what they're protesting. I'd bet everything in my wallet they can't give me any actual data supporting their argument.

Do you really have the nerve to insinuate that they should stand because two irrelevant people committed an inexcusable crime? Or that the other people deserved to die because black people commit crimes on white people?

I insinuated nothing. I read the news in the paper and couldn't find any police killing black male stories so I used the most current story involving black/white murder.
There was one police murder involving a black male but was from three years ago and involved an officer killed while serving a warrant.

Two black teens were killed by a white man, but alas it happened a few years ago and they were killed while in commission of an armed robbery.

I just couldn't find a story to back up the team's claim so went with the truth instead.

I fought for this country to enable these kids the right to freedom of speech and a right to protest peacefully. If you have a problem with what these young thugs are doing than you have a problem with all American soldiers

You also fought for our right to be upset with their protest and if you have a problem with that you have a problem with yourself

So you just insult the kids? Lol that takes away from your "free speech unity" argument. Thank you for your service though!

Neither do any of the adults that are doing it, except of course for twitter likes or some shite. They should head down S Claiborne some night and protest all the gang bangers, drug dealers, and prosts out there fricking their community up

Not what the Shreveport Times reported.

Student-athletes at Green Oaks Performing Arts Academy will stand together, arms linked with one another, during the national anthem Friday when the Giants visit Plain Dealing for a non-district football contest.
Times

It's a little concerning that they chose to begin the practice on foreign soil (Bossier Parish).

Don't speak on my behalf pal!

How many rounds you put down range? Furthermore how many of your team members returned in a flag draped coffin?

Go take a knee in front of their parents and ask for forgiveness.

Huh?
I don't know what war you fought, but know that freedom of speech for young "thugs" certainly was not on your short list of reasons to fight.

Peaceful assembly is certainly a right as well as my right to point out the absurdity of the kneelers who truth told probably put up to it by an adult for another reason entirely.
My respect for soldiers has always been absolute and furthered even more after I was sent to war twice as a young man. So I have no problem with American soldiers, only ones like you that talk the most but always turn out having done the least, if anything at all.
If I am wrong about this I apologize, but in my experience have never been yet.
