Shouldn't Florida State just go ahead and fire Norvell and hire Deion

Norvell is just going to get fired next year, and you might as well do it now and go apologize to Deion for overlooking him 2 years ago and snag him before he hits the market next year and numerous other Southern P5 programs come after him. Hell, he may even give his Alma Mater a discount if they are too financially strapped to make the move.
With him and Mario at FSU and Miami, that's electric for the ACC and it totally shuts off the Sunshine State talent pipeline to Alabama and Georgia, which have roasted the SEC with an abundance of south Florida players over the last 5+ yrs.
You also still have time to do it since the season technically isn't even over yet and you still have February signing day. I mean, Deion only has like 5 recruits at Jax State right now, and he'd likely get Travis Hunter to hit the portal this summer and enroll at FSU this fall.
Surely FSU boosters and BoT members are having these conversations right now, no?

The funniest part is FSU fans defending the extension after going 8-13, ignoring that they just lost their last game to a rival that gave up on the season in October and played the game without a HC and DC.

A competent coach with a 25-30th ranked class is still beating a top 5 Deion group 9 of 10 times. I don’t care what his credentials are, dudes a clown idiot and will get exposed badly when the time comes.

You may be right, but it has also been shown crystal clear at LSU that if you can recruit top roster talent, a functional retard can win a national title today in College Football.
Deion would murder recruting there, especially for DBs, and he's an attraction enough unto himself to bug himself a few mediocre years.

What’s going on at Florida state shows the cost of doing business and why schools pay it. So Deion will put them on probation? It already feels like they’ve been on probation. Will there even be probation going forward?
