LSU dropped them off of their schedule this year. My good friend is a diehard Southern Miss fan and alumni and he was PISSED. He was hoping to make a trip to Baton Rouge this year in his Black and Gold.

LSU rescheduled with USM to make room for UNC and Oregon. LSU is going to play USM around 2014 or so.

i think one of either MSU/OM should play them every year. Kinda tough for Southern miss to lock up two games worth of NC play with OM and MSU every year. But it would be good for USM and wont hurt State/OM. If yall are worried about beating USM then your not going to be very good anyways its not like LSU this year where a loss to oregon in NC could cost them the BCS National Champ game.

I don't mind playing them. It would be a guaranteed sell out for both schools. However, I get tired of hearing the anytime, anyone, anywhere stuff. I was told we offered to play them in Starkville back in the late 90's and they turned it down since we didn't offer a home and home.

If I was USM I would only take a home deal with MSU and Ole Miss...

Didn't MSU play at La Tech a few years ago?

Yes, especially if both teams OOC schedules stay so lame. And Ole Miss couldn't even beat Jax State.

You mean to tell me losing to Southern Miss would be more embarrassing than that fiasco ?

Funny you mentioned Chesterfields. The owner sold out to CVS pharmacy, and they dismantled the old Chesterfield building on the corner of 49 and Hardy. Just so happens that in the pile of rubble a fire broke out. I shite you not.

FWIW Chesterfields is moving out to HWY 98 by O'Charlie's
I was wondering what happened to that place. I don't read the local news much and I drove to the corner of 49 and Hardy one day and Chesterfield's was gone. Wasn't expecting that.

Why do you get two home games? Not like Ole Miss has done shite in the last 30 years.

as Johnny Carson used to say, "I did not know that".

Screw 'em then. That's insane for them to expect home and home. Silly, really.

Why should we give up a home game to fill up your shitty stadium?

We'll do a home and home if you give us half of your stadium's tickets though.....
