Discussions continue about whether Monday night’s Chiefs-Rams game will be played in Mexico City, LA or postponed, per sources. NFL determined to play it Monday night in Mexico City, but the field is “a mess” and might not be safe for players. It’s a significant concern.

both teams do have a week 12 bye....Man I'd bet ESPN would lose their shite if they lose this match up.

Booger's crane is going to get stuck in the field. Those Mexicans are going to throw batteries at his crane if he gets in their way

There should be similar places all over the US that could host the game.

Legion Field, Independence Stadium, that abandoned HBCU field in Atlanta. All would be similar to playing in Mexico

They might as well just move it to London.

Goodell already has a raging boner for that place anyway

It's even less hard than that. Just put it at the stadium of whoever gave up the home game.

Couldn't they just play it in LA since its a Rams' "home" game anyway?

This game is presented as a Rams home game. They would get the home game if they moved it

Just found the answer to my own question

LINK

quote:

NFL officials are expected to convene at the stadium Tuesday in a meeting that was previously scheduled to examine the playing surface and make a final decision about whether the game can and will be played there, sources said. If it is not, the game would be moved to Los Angeles.

Play it at Qualcomm so the Rams can vulture all the ex-Charger fans

In order to accommodate MNF, they would have to play at like 2:15 AM, right?

Every year they’ve had major logicstical issues with Mexico City and they keep coming back. I don’t get it.
