Kendrick Perkins is a fkn idiot. This dude just rambles incoherently most of the time like he has suffered multiple concussions

I just can't fathom why Dallas would do this.

Is this the biggest out of nowhere not a single rumor trade in history?

Nah this isn’t really a win now move so I think Lebron had no real input on this one.

“Heard from multiple teams tonight that said they had no idea Luka was available. You want to trade Luka, ok, but you start a bidding war. There was no reason to accept this deal so early.”

Not even the conspiracy type but I refuse to believe this level of incompetence from a front office, and I’m a damn cowboys fan

Trading 26 year old AD for Ingram, Hart and what turned out to be a bunch of junk only to watch the Lakers trade AD for Luka five years later has to sting

A below average seller on Facebook marketplace could've made a better deal than this. Amazing.

Man, when he sold that controlling stake, they really were like “Now get the frick outta here!!” I’d love to see some live footage of his face exactly when someone told him this had gone down.

I'm taking this as a sign that I need to ask out Margot Robbie. Apparently anything is possible.

Kendrick Perkins just said Dallas won the trade

I saw that and thought, what an idiotic take.

Bill trying to somehow spin this into a negative for the Lakers while not shitting on his golden boy Luka in the process. Russillo gives some pushback to this take sending Simmons on a tangent leading to the “who is the face of the Lakers?” piece

This makes no sense at all. You want to trade your best asset fine, but to do it in secrecy and without the chance of opening up bidding to the rest of the league is a fireable offense. You got a decent piece in an aging, fragile AD and a 2029 1st round pick, but you could have gotten so much more. This is simply crazy and Dallas fans need to be outside the GM’s office tomorrow demanding answers.

It's absolutely absurd. I'm still in shock and not even an NBA fan.

I don't have to follow the NBA to understand you don't trade away a young generational franchise talent like that without more compensation. How do you not open up the bidding?
