Gabe Kapler, the new manager of the San Francisco Giants, and four players took a knee Monday night before the team’s preseason game against the Oakland Athletics.
Mike Yastrzemski, Austin Slater, Jaylin Davis and Antoan Richardson were the Giants players who took a knee.
LINK
so as usual with most of this nonsense, it was majority WHITE liberals virtue signaling. typical.
Austin Slater = upper class raised soyboy indoctrinated with self hate at Stanford University.
A career .254 hitting bum who has more strikeouts than hits (157 strikeouts, 123 hits)
Mike Yastrzemski = upper class raised soyboy from Massachusetts
career journeyman minor league player, 29-year old MLB rookie
Manager Gabe Kapler = Hollywood, California born and raised ultimate virtue signaling, clout chasing soyboy.
Scrub of a former, journeyman player (6 different teams in 12 years) and now a below .500 manager.
"In a clubhouse poll, it was once revealed that of the 25 players on the Red Sox, 24 were Republicans and Kapler was the one Democrat."
LINK
meanwhile most players from all walks of life (many of which from countries that deal with REAL issues) stood.
but you can always rely on the white liberals to virtue signal for attention

You couldn't find any pics of Kapler with his shirt on?

as mentioned above Kapler is the ULTIMATE, clout chasing soyboy. everything about him is chasing clout. even his "normal" photos are him getting the best pose for Instagram and wearing makeup

I’ll cancel my MLB.tv tomorrow and post the screenshot here. Not because of the Globalists who kneeled, but because of the leftist tweets by the official MLB account.

Maybe stop trying to escape the real world?

Yeah, Aubrey, there’s a reason you weren’t invited. Much like why Ted Nugent won’t be in the RRHOF. They have a lot of assholes there, bit it’s not big enough for Ted’s.

It has never been about the military or the flag. The players and coaches are using their platforms to peacefully protest.
It doesn’t work that way MLB. You don’t get to explain how others should feel. If they want to protest that way, fine. But you don’t get to do that while also trying to tell others how to interpret.

Definition of pastime
: something that amuses and serves to make time pass agreeably
Baseball has been self marketing as America’s pastime for as long as I can remember. I don’t think either side of this debate considers the overall situation in America amusing right now

You will see more teams/players doing this across all sports. shite an ESPN writer wrote an article about Bruce Maxwell essentially calling him a hero for kneeling.
Just a bunch of rich athletes who've lost touch with reality and think what they are doing makes a difference. Like many of them believe that Everytime a black male leaves his house a white cop is out to kill him.
It's gotten to the point where it is just comical.

Except that Kaepernick said this after he first started kneeling
